Struggle Using the Right Words
No doubt, we all have had trouble finding the perfect word(s) sometimes, but someone struggling with dementia may forget inappropriate alternative words, simple words, and construct sentences you may not make sense of. Also, they may find it hard to understand others.
Finding it challenging to express your thought using the right words is another premier symptom of dementia. They find it extremely challenging to use the right word when trying to explain something or express themselves. More so, it is difficult to have a dialogue with such a person, and it may take more time to conclude.
