People could take some eye exercise to ease eyestrain. Proper eye exercise help strengthen your eye muscles, regulate blood circulation, and keep your eyes focus. We have listed several methods on how to exercise your eyes and keep reading to learn more.

  • 20-20-20 Rule

Gazing one subject for a long time could cause eye strain. From a scientific point of view, it is recommended to take a break and focus on something at least 20 feet away from you for about 20 seconds after you spend 20 minutes on a computer. 20-second is a timespan that your eyes could completely relax. Some people might find it hard to measure a 20-feet distance. In fact, being accurate is not the key. Just look at something far away from you, for instance, a tree over a street.

  • The Eye Roll Exercise

Another way to ease your eye fatigue is by rolling your eyes. Seat comfortably and keep your head fixed. Roll both of your eyes slowly in a clockwise direction and then in a counter-clockwise motion. Do it two to three minutes

  • The Figure Eight (Infinity Loop)

Keep a seated position, and imagine there is a horizontal figure eight in front of you. Slowly trace the number with your eyes for a few minutes, then switch the direction to do it again. [3]
