What Is Orbital Cellulitis?
Orbital cellulitis is an infectious condition occurring in the fat and soft tissues inside the eye socket. It would trigger painful and comfortable issues. If left untreated, patients can even experience life-threatening complications and permanent vision loss. Orbital cellulitis may happen in people of any age, but it is more common in young children. The infection can spread to the areas around the eyelid and eye. However, it is not contagious or does not transmit from person to person. [1]
