Resource Limits
You need to meet some monthly resource limits to be eligible for the QMB program. Not all possessions are counted toward this limit. In general, it may include bonds, stocks, and money in your savings and checking accounts. Resources that are not counted include furniture, vehicle, and house. The resource limits for QMB program are different for single and married people. As of 2021, the resource limits for single individuals and married couples are $7,970 and $11,960, respectively.
