When Can You Enroll in Medicare Part C?
You may start enrolling into Medicare approximately three months before you reach the age of 65. In addition, the enrollment may be possible on the month when you turn 65 years old and 3 months after your 65th birthday. However, the coverage would be delayed. In case you miss this initial enrollment period, you can still enroll in Medicare in the open enrollment period, which runs between October 15 and December 7 each year. Lastly, there is another open enroll period for Medicare Part C between January 1 and March 31 each year.
