When Can You Appeal Medicare IRMAA?
It is possible to appeal an IRMAA within 2 months of getting a determination notice. You can do this in two circumstances. The first one involves some life-changing events that have significant effects on your income. These include marriage, divorce, work reduction, work cessation, death of a spouse, income loss from an income-generating property, and reduction or loss of pensions.
