Human Papillomavirus Vaccines (HPV): All You Need To Know

Recommended Dosing Schedule

Depending on the age to get an immunization, HPV vaccine administration can be scheduled in two-dose and three-dose. If people initiate HPV vaccination before their fifteenth birthday, they will receive a two-dose HPV vaccine. The recommended interval is six to twelve months after the first dosage for better protection. If people get the first HPV vaccination on or after their fifteenth birthday, they will have a three-dose HPV vaccine. And the second injection and third injection are scheduled 1-2 months and six months after completing the first dose, respectively. For both two-dose and three-dose vaccination, there is no need to restart the HPV vaccine series if the vaccination schedule is interrupted. [4]
