How to Stop Hitting the Snooze Button

Expose to Light

In general, we tend to wake up when the sun starts to show up. This is the process in which the circadian clock adjusts itself. Therefore, you may consider using artificial or natural light to feel energized in the morning and stop hitting the snooze button. A simple tip is to leave the curtain or blind in your bedroom open overnight. As a result, morning sunlight may come in and wake you up naturally. If you do not have a window or there is no sunlight in the winter, then you may turn on a light switch immediately after waking up to force yourself to wake up. [4]
