Scientists had attributed this morning effect to the function of ginger in slowing down the growth of potentially cancerous cells in the body. This is no wonder since ginger is equally anti-inflammatory in action. Medical studies are looking at employing the use of ginger in the treatment of some cancers, such as colon cancer, breast cancer, and pancreatic cancer.[3]
