Avoid Electronic Devices before Bedtime
Many people often have the habit of going to bed with their tablet or phone, perhaps for checking the news or watching some YouTube clips. However, this may do harm to your sleep routine. Blue light emitted from these electronic devices may keep your brain active and disrupt the circadian rhythm, which is the natural sleep-wake clock of the body. As a result, you may feel more difficult to fall asleep as the body needs more time to shift into sleep mode. For this reason, make sure to turn off your television, smartphone, or tablet at least 1 hour before the bedtime. Instead, try meditating, listening to music, or reading a book to calm your mind.
