10 Signs of Bullying

Reluctance to go to school

Since most of the bullying cases occur in school, your kids might feel reluctant to get up and go to school each morning. For young children, you should look out for recurring excuses to avoid attending classes, such as pains and aches, or frequent calls from the school to ask for early pickups. With teenagers and adolescents, parents should check with teachers regularly to monitor their attendance because they would skip school to avoid being bullied. Pay special attention to the early days of the week as Mondays or Tuesdays are the most common times when kids want to stay at home. After being safer on the weekends, going back to school on Monday can be hard for them. [2]
