What Causes Spinal Stenosis

Spine Defects

In some cases, spinal stenosis could be a congenital condition. This means it is caused by some spine defects occurring at birth. More specifically, several babies might have a narrow spinal canal due to the forming of their bones. Scientists have not found the underlying cause of this issue. Ultrasounds and some other imaging tests can help diagnose the condition before birth. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to prevent these spine defects from occurring due to the genetic nature.
