Triple-Negative Breast Cancer – What to Know

Signs and Symptoms of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer

The symptoms of triple-negative breast cancer are quite similar to those for other forms of breast cancer. Most people first notice the condition when a lump occurs in their breast. This growth can be hard or soft, painless, and have round or irregular borders. Make sure to inform your doctor as soon as you notice any new mass or lump. Other possible signs of triple-negative breast cancer may include:

– Nipple or breast pain

– Swollen breast even when you do not feel a mass

– Inward-turning nipple

– Nipple discharge

– Dimpling of breast skin

– Swollen lymph nodes

– Thickened, flaking, or red nipple or breast tissue [3]
