While using a blow dryer will not help to eradicate live lice, hot air from this unit can be effective in eradicating nits. Thus, it is a good idea to use it on your freshly washed hair so that it can reduce the risks of new lice hatching from nits on your head. Keep in mind not to use this remedy after using a chemical treatment because some products might have flammable ingredients which can be triggered by heated air flows. [8]
