Pain Description
A doctor would figure out many things about your tension headaches based on the descriptions of your condition. During an appointment, he or she would ask a few questions related to your headache. These include:
– Headache characteristics: Is the pain dull or constant? Does it pulsate? Is it stabbing or sharp?
– Headache intensity: To determine the level of severity, your doctor needs to know how your body functions during the condition. Can you still work? Does the headache wake you up or prevent you from sleeping?
