Substance Misuse
Another sign of ADHD in adults is substance misuse. This might involve the use of tobacco, alcohol, or illicit substances. While the problem might not occur in every adult with ADHD, the condition makes them more likely to have these issues. Scientists have not found out the exact link between ADHD and substance misuse.
