Hormonal Changes
Many women might notice that they tend to get a sinus headache during their period. This is directly associated with changing levels of some important hormones, such as progesterone and estrogen. In fact, women would experience this symptom anywhere from two days before a period to three days after the onset. Anything which changes those levels would trigger a sinus headache. The degree of these shifts will determine how serious the pain and inflammation would be.
