What Is Sinus Arrhythmia?
Arrhythmia is a condition characterized by an irregular heartbeat. Sinus arrhythmia is a special form of arrhythmia that occurs when an irregular heartbeat is either too slow or too fast. In most cases, this is a benign condition. It is a naturally occurring variation of the heartbeat and does not necessarily mean that you have a severe heart condition. Children and young, healthy adults are mostly affected. Sinus arrhythmia can also happen in the elderly, but it is usually linked to heart issues, in these cases. [1]
