Nausea and Vomiting
Nausea and vomiting are another common sign of Polio. It starts as mild discomfort in the stomach where you feel to throw up and eventually throw up all the contents in the stomach through the mouth and nose. Vomiting is usually an uncontrollable reflex action that forces you to expel food contents from the stomach through the mouth. When Poliovirus attacks, it causes many reactions in the body when attacking the organs, thus resulting in the discomfort that affects the stomach, which leads to nausea and vomiting. It happens to both children and adults who get infected by the virus. [5]
