Sarcoidosis often requires a process of exclusive diagnosis. This means that your doctor will take many different tests to rule out the possible causes. In addition to the other methods mentioned above, there are numerous exams that can be taken to verify the symptoms. A urine and blood test would be used to determine the functions of your liver and kidneys, while an electrocardiogram could find out the presence of any heart issues. Your healthcare provider might also need to check for your vision as sarcoidosis would affect your eyes.
