Anti-CCP Antibodies
Another diagnostic test for rheumatoid arthritis is the anti-CCP or anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide. In general, anti-CCPs are also antibodies formed by your immune system. Those people with a positive test for these substances are at a higher risk of developing rheumatoid arthritis. However, keep in mind that not everyone with rheumatoid arthritis has anti-CCPs.
