Stress
Puppies might develop diarrhea after going through an abrupt change in their living environments. Moving to a new home or being separated from their siblings and mother can increase stress levels. This eventually affects their digestive functions and triggers diarrhea symptoms. Stress would be worsened by some other factors, such as new schedules, new foods, unexpected smells or sounds, and living with other pets in the same space. Owners should help their puppies overcome stress by showing affection, feeding on a regular basis, promoting exercises, and providing a predictable schedule. [4]
