Alcohol

Drinking alcohol when you are suffering from acute pancreatitis would worsen the issue and cause chronic pancreatitis. Also, abuse consumption of beers or wine would lead to high levels of triglyceride, which is one of the major risk factors for pancreatitis. That’s why it is better to avoid or limiting alcohol. Do not exceed 1 portion each day for women and 1 to 2 portions each day for men. Even when you are healthy, drinking sparingly or abstaining from alcohol can also be a good option. If necessary, you should avoid any social situations which require you to drink alcohol. Instead, drink juice or soda. [15]
