Drink Too Much Water
Another possible cause of an overactive bladder is the consumption of too many liquids during the day. Having too much water in the body would overwhelm the bladder, making it harder to control. Ideally, you should not drink more than 3 liters on a daily basis. Also, try to sip small amounts evenly throughout the day rather than drink large amounts several times. It is better to have fluids in the afternoon and morning instead of before bed. This will prevent you from getting up in the night to urinate. [8]
