Jaundice: Symptoms, Causes & Treatments

Spider Angiomas

Another way to identify jaundice is to look for any blood vessels under your skin which look like a spider. This condition is also known as spider angiomas in which the skin might develop small markings as the underlying cause of jaundice tends to cause increased blood moving through the blood vessels. As a result, you can notice the blood vessels visible under the skin. Keep in mind that this isn’t a direct result of jaundice but it usually happens at the same time. You might often see them on many body parts such as face, neck, hands, arms, and trunk. [3]
