Avoid Triggers
Foods with many inflammatory components would trigger flare-ups of fibromyalgia. You should avoid all prepared and processed foods such as fried chicken, French fries, sausage, or ham. Similarly, do not consume sugary beverages such as juices, soda, or soft drinks. Spicy and hot foods should also be avoided. Eating those foods too much would open up your blood vessels and lead to flushing, a main trigger of inflammation. If necessary, ask your dietitian to know which ingredients to eat and avoid in your diet. [10]
