What Is Rinvoq?

Rinvoq is a prescription medication that contains the active ingredient upadacitinib. It belongs to the drug class called Janus kinase inhibitor. Doctors often use the medicine to treat moderate to severe cases of rheumatoid arthritis in adults who would not tolerate methotrexate. It can also be prescribed for some other medical conditions. It is still unclear whether Rinvoq is effective and safe to use in children under 18 years old. The medication is available in the table form with a strength of 15 milligrams. [1]
