Fibromyalgia – Treatment & Care

Anti-Inflammatory Diet

Fibromyalgia often leads to many chemical-sensitive and inflammatory elements. That’s why people with this condition should adopt an anti-inflammatory diet. In general, it should contain whole foods or organic foods and avoid any additives or preservatives. Make sure to consume more veggies and fruits, which should account for at least 50% of your daily food intake. Some good foods with anti-inflammatory properties include blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, broccoli, spinach, Swiss chard, Brussels sprouts, and other dark leafy greens. Also, add fatty fish like cod, tuna, or salmon to your meals as omega-3 fatty acids in these foods would help with symptoms of fibromyalgia. [11]
