Multiple Sclerosis
Multiple sclerosis is a disorder that would disable the spinal cord and the brain. It triggers the immune system to attack the myelin, or protective sheath, which protects nerve fibers. This leads to communication issues between the brain and other body parts. More and more studies have shown that multiple sclerosis can increase the risk of developing restless legs syndrome. However, scientists have not fully understood this link. More research is needed to confirm this.[6]
