Postnasal Drip
The inflammation and irritation caused by nasal polyps may trigger the nose to produce a lot of mucus. In some cases, these substances do not go out of the nose but may be swallowed unconsciously. This condition is also known as postnasal drip, or a feeling of mucus gathering and running down the back of your throat continuously.
