BNP
BNP or B-type natriuretic peptide is a blood test that can measure the levels of BNP hormone in the blood. Along with other heart hormones, BNP can keep the arteries and veins dilated or widened so that blood can pass through easily and clots will not be formed. In addition, these hormones would help the kidneys remove salt and fluids easily from the body. If the result of your BNP test indicates a rise in the level, then you might suffer from heart failure, which would cause cardiac asthma later. [12]
