How to Diagnose a Breast Lump
During an appointment, your doctor will ask certain questions about the lumps and symptoms that you have. A physical exam will be done to detect any abnormal changes in your breasts. Based on the results, there are several options. The first one is the wait-and-see approach. Otherwise, the doctor will suggest further diagnostic tests, such as an MRI, mammogram, or breast ultrasound.
