Parasite Treatment
Intestinal parasites, such as worm, is one of the main triggers of diarrhea in dogs. If this cause is verified after the fecal analysis, the vet would suggest the use of some oral medications to relieve the symptoms. They work by killing the parasites and preventing new ones from affecting in the future. In most cases, parasite medications can be taken orally and only need a single dose.
