Foul-Smelling Urine
Normal urine is typically clear and has a yellow color. While the smell of urine could vary somewhat, it does not have a strong odor, in most cases. However, if your kidney functions are impaired due to an infection, urine might be accumulated and have a higher level of ammonia than usual. This leads to foul-smelling urine. Taking some drugs and foods would also cause this change, but the presence of viruses or bacteria causing infections is a more common trigger. [7]
