Shin Splints
If you suffer from pain in the front of your leg, this is usually caused by shin splints. This is particularly true when you start or quickly increase activity or exercise. In these cases, your body is not ready for a sudden increase in activities, thus causing pain in many parts of your body, including legs. To alleviate the pain, you should rest your legs, take some anti-inflammatory painkillers, and apply ice to lower swelling. Also, maintain the right levels of vitamin D by ensuring splints do not become leg fractures. [2]
