Gout
Gout refers to different conditions triggered by the accumulation of uric acid, which affects your leg and feet. If you suffer from gout, you might feel pain and swelling in these parts of the body, especially in the big toe. Intense and sudden pain, also known as gout attacks, could make it feel like your leg is on fire. There are 4 stages of gout, including asymptomatic hyperuricemia, acute, interval, and chronic tophaceous. The treatment and symptoms will vary between these stages. Gout can be a complicated disease that is caused by many reasons like metabolism and blood disorders, excess consumption of alcohol, or a diet that is high in salt, sweet juices, organ meat, red meat, and shellfish.[12]
