Impaired Vision
Stroke comes with difficulty in seeing. This impaired vision could be on the right or left eye, depending on which part of the brain is damaged during the stroke. The brain just like the eyes has a vital role to play in your ability to see. This is a case of hemianopia in which one half of the visual field is blind. When the left hemisphere of the brain is damaged, it affects the right visual field, and when the right hemisphere is damaged, it also affects the left visual field. This symptom is something that every stroke patient experiences. With your vision tampered with, you will not be able to walk confidently since you are unable to have a clear vision of your path.
