Symptoms of Chronic Angle-Closure Glaucoma
As the name implies, chronic angle-closure glaucoma tends to progress more slowly than the acute form. During this period, it can be hard to notice any symptoms caused by damage to the optic nerve. That’s why regular eye exams are very important to detect any abnormal issues quickly. In advanced stages, symptoms are quite similar to those in acute angle-closure glaucoma, including eye pain, redness, nausea, vomiting, visual disturbances, and peripheral vision. [10]
