Diarrhea
If you find yourself attending toilets more frequently than usual with intermittent stomach cramps after a particular meal, it is a clear signal you ate the wrong food. This can come in the form of loose or watery stool, diarrhea is a sickness and one of the indicators of a serious food poisoning, especially when it comes with blood. It occurs from 6-24 hours of eating defected food.
The bacteria Campylobacter jejuni is one of the common bacteria that cause diarrhea; it is found in raw meat and poultry and may be sources of infection. It is recommended that vulnerable people like seniors, babies and those with other health conditions should be given oral rehydration solutions (ORS) if the vomiting goes alongside. [5]
