Changes in Urine Color
Sometimes, the fatty liver disease would also cause some considerable changes in your urine color. It might turn dark, brown, cola-colored, amber, or orange rather than the usual yellow. This is mainly caused by the accumulation of bilirubin, making it more difficult for the body to break down or process toxins. Additionally, you might notice that there is no pungent or strong smell that often comes with urination. In severe cases, you might find this task become painful and labored when it gets thickened in consistency. Changes in the color and constitution of your stools would also happen when they become clay-colored or whitish. These are often serious sign, so make sure to visit a doctor as soon as possible.[5]
