High Blood Pressure
High blood pressure occurs when the force of blood against the artery wall is too high. Also known as hypertension, it is a medical condition that dwells in the body unnoticed unless you feel the symptoms which are also not so common. When you have a high blood pressure that is not quickly controlled or taken care of, you are at the risk of developing stroke. With high blood pressure, your brain’s blood vessels tend to be damaged, causing rupturing and leakages which lead to stroke. Also, high blood pressure can form blood clots that will obstruct blood flow and cause stroke. [5]
