Exercise for around 20 to 30 minutes each day can be helpful in preventing the formation of blood clots. From jumping rope, swimming, running to rowing, cycling, or walking, these physical activities can increase blood flows and help dissolve clots quickly. If your work requires sitting for long hours, it’s a good idea to get up every 2 hours and do a few light exercises like walking around or rocking back and forth. [8]
