As of 2021, you have to pay the following for Medicare Part A coinsurance if you go to the hospital as an impatient:
– $0 per day from day 1 to day 60
– $371 per day from day 61 to day 90
– $742 per lifetime reserve day from day 91
If you go to a skilled nursing center, the coinsurance expenses are:
– $0 per day from day 1 to day 20
– $185.5 per day from day 21 to day 100
– All expenses from day 101 [5]
