The Bridge Piercing – Everything You Need to Know

Bridge Piercing Aftercare

Proper aftercare would help you heal faster and lower the risk of side effects. Some useful tips to follow:

– Use a clean paper towel to pat the pierced parts dry.

– Avoid touching the pierced ears with bare hands, especially when they are dirty.

– Use a saline solution to clean the back and front of the piercings a few times per day.

– Wipe away crusts between cleanings.

– Cover the pillowcase with a clean cloth each night or change it daily.

– Do not rotate, change, or remove the jewelry until you are fully healed, which may take around 2 to 3 months.

– Do not submerge the ears in oceans, lakes, hot tubs, or swimming pools.

– Be careful when wearing glasses, brushing the hair, or getting dressed to avoid friction or snagging. [7]
