Tecentriq: Uses, Dosage, Side Effects & More

Tecentriq for Pregnant and Breastfeeding Women

Tecentriq can be harmful to women during pregnancy because it increases the immune system’s activity. Therefore, the immune system would attack the fetus. Before prescribing this medication, your healthcare provider will check to ensure that you are not pregnant. If you are currently in a Tecentriq treatment, some birth control methods should be considered to prevent pregnancy. It is still unclear whether Tecentriq can pass into breast milk. However, it is still better to avoid taking this drug when you are breastfeeding your children. Also, do not breastfeed for at least five months after the last dosage of Tecentriq. [10]
