Sciatica Exercise for Pain Relief

Cobra

The cobra stretch can work out your core muscles and stretch the lower back. This will bring alleviation to these areas when you are suffering from sciatica. Start with lying on the stomach. Extend both legs together with bent elbows and palms placing on the floor in front of your chest. Lift your chest off the ground around 45 degrees and straighten your elbows. For a full cobra, you should lift your chest further. Ideally, stay in this position in five to ten seconds before returning to the initial position. Do it at least ten times. [3]
