Lucentis Uses
Lucentis is approved by the FDA to treat the following eye disorders in adults:
– Myopic choroidal neovascularization: This is a serious disorder that may cause abnormal blood vessels in your eye. If left untreated, it would lead to blindness.
– Diabetic retinopathy: It is a complication of diabetes that happens when high levels of blood sugar lead to damage in the retina’s blood vessels.
– Age-related macular degeneration: In this condition, new blood vessels may grow under the macula and lead to the leakage of blood and fluids.
– Diabetic macular edema
