Inspect Less Common Areas
Bed bugs can also be found in other less common areas. Check under the tables and desks and empty out the drawers. Turn them upside down as well to examine the joints. If they have hollow legs, make sure to unscrew and check the interior legs. If your space is heavily infested, bed bugs might live in cracks around electrical items. You should remove outlet covers to check the area behind. Do the same for computer cords or wall-mounted lamps. Some other spots to detect bed bugs include under clocks, rugs, toys, behind wallpaper, and clothing piles. [6]
