Rich in Antioxidants

Seaweed contains a wide range of antioxidants like carotenoids and flavonoids. Also, it is rich in many antioxidant vitamins, such as vitamin E, C, and A. These substances can protect body cells from damage by free radicals, thus preventing common health issues like diabetes or heart disease. More specifically, antioxidants work to inhibit the activity of free radicals. This reduces the risk of damaging your cells.
