Faslodex (Fulvestrant) – Uses, Dosage, Side Effects and More

Faslodex Dosage

Faslodex is available in the liquid form in prefilled syringes, which contains 250 mg of active drug in 5ml of solution. The dosage of Faslodex that your doctor gives you will depend on the medical conditions. For treating breast cancer, you might get two injections of 250 mg into the muscle of the buttocks. It should be administered at the doctor’s office. For the first 3 dosages, Faslodex is often given around 2 weeks apart, on day 1, day 15, and day 29 of the treatment. After that, only one injection is given each month. In people with liver failure or other medical issues, the dosage may be reduced to prevent certain complications or dangerous side effects. [5]
